So he did well! There was a huge meltdown for both of us....it started with him, not knowing, and then upset with me, for not telling, and I didn't expect...and it was too late. All over candy..yeah..we both cried and left after he grabbed a piece of candy from a table he wanted, as he was trying to tell me. It wasn't wrapped, the woman gave me a nasty look as I was trying to stop him as he grabbed it. I had tried to explain to him, that it wasn't his fault, and that you can't grab things... Pretty sucky.

We ended up at the Taste of Wheaton.











V won a fish. :) Now we have a pet goldfish. The goldfish is completely freaked out. I am hoping he makes it at least a week. :/

So a weird thing happened today. I had a bottle of water laying on my console and we went into swimming. We came out and V got in the car and said he thought he saw smoke..sure enough the sun was melting my console! OMG, can you imagine if we were at the pool or something, and came back to my car on fire?? holy smokes!

There was a run this morning in Wheaton, did you run? I didn't even know about it.

Do you like going to the "Taste of _____________" events? This was wasn't extremely crowded, and the weather was perfect.

sore foot

I am not sure if you caught it, but I am pretty sure I broke a bone in my foot on Saturday. It is still swollen, a tad bruised (not as much as I would think it would be) and sore. So, so sore. I haven't been to a doctor, and unless it gets worse, I am not planning to.

So I haven't been working out. I have been making fruit cups, and V and I are arguing on who gets more raspberries. He asked for a red fruit cup yesterday (no blackberries, blueberries or grapes).

So there really isn't much to report. My friend is having a garage sale, and a lot of V's clothes will be there. Please let me know if you are in the area, and you want to go and buy some really cheap clothes, I priced them to move. I didn't price them to make money off of them. I figure there is more money in declaring them on your taxes.

I made eggs for supper. I ended up with a belly ache, I made them over easy...not good..I think next time they should be scrambled...*gagging*

I don't have my own picture, so I googled it. So you can see how far up the slides go, he went down the yellow and I haven't even done that! I am scared to be in a tube like that. He likes it better than the red, because it is faster. LOL I am in so much trouble!

I ended up getting burned today. Three days in the horrible heat, sun..I shouldn't be surprised.

Also today, he was in the whirlpool section, and I was holding onto him. (the entire section goes in a circle). Some big kid somehow got between us and I lost him, I literally reached over the kid, grabbed V and pulled him out of the water. The poor kid between us, might have gotten kicked, but I don't care. It is deep, and V's life is more important than some kid possibly getting kicked in the head. Honestly..there is a greater chance that my boob hit him harder than V.

So after all that fun, we were driving and I was sitting at a light, and we were going straight. The guy next to me was making a left. I looked over (at an angle) and watched him take a big drink of beer out of a bottle. I debated for a few seconds on what to do. He was inching forward, and I was digging for a pen. I quickly wrote down his plate number as he was driving away. I called 911 and gave them the info. (car make, type, color, plate number, description of the driver). They asked me if I was still behind him. Should I have followed him? I debated for a second..but I didn't want to get more involved than I was.

We don't have air..well, I have air, but when they replaced the roof, they put nail holes in my line, and so it leaks. When I asked about getting it fixed, they quoted me over 20k, because the line have to be pulled, I would have to use the association's plumber, roofer, etc. Who has 20k to have ac? I thought about going into litigation, and was told by many residents that no one ever wins against them. NO wonder my association fees are so f'ing high!

So last year, we went all summer with no a/c. I trained in the middle of the night for my half marathon. I have a dreadmill, and would pick the coolest night to get up at 3ish and do my long run.

Well, I decided to buy one of those portable a/c units. You are probably wondering why I didn't just get window units, it is because I can't according to the association..and the window slide to the side, not up and down. So this outlet, is small and pretty unnoticeable.

So this a/c unit has been running straight for over 24 hours. I shut off my bedroom/bathroom. We only use that bathroom for showering. The unit is in V's bedroom. We will sleep in there tonight. Currently in his bedroom it is 82, and the living room is 87. I found that the plastic I put up, to close off the exhaust space where the product didn't cover, fell off and the section was wide open! FML...(first world problem, for sure.) So I am hoping that this will help. Obviously, (if you have heard) it was almost 100 today, so a bedroom to be at 82 is not bad at all. Just add a fan and you can sleep..I am sure, right??

Ok..so I am not going to retell this story..pay attention! Obviously, the heat is making me quite cranky as well. So let's move to pictures.

See his outfit? Yeah..his cousins wear UA all the time, he wanted "running clothes" LOL See how red? He was HOT. He was in the shade and was this red.
